The Perfect Pick Me Up Prize Draw T&C’S

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions and by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

  1. The Promoter

The promoter is: Symington’s Limited of Thornes Farm Business Park, Pontefract Lane, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS9 0DN

The Agency is: Cornerstone Design and Marketing Limited, Acorn Street, Lees, Oldham, OL4 3PD

The Prize Provider: Element London Limited, 5 Morie St, London SW18 1SL

  1. The prize draw
    • Mug Shot Prize Draw T&Cs – advertised in Slimming World magazine and Bauer Media in 2025.
    • Entrants must visit mugshot.co.uk/prizedraw and enter their full name, email address and accept the terms and conditions of the prize draw.
  2. How to enter,
    • The prize draw will run from 00:00:00 (the “Opening Time”) on 16th December 2024 (the "Opening Date") to 23:59:59 (the “Closing Time”) on 24th February 2025 (the "Closing Date") inclusive.
    • All prize draw entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than the Closing Time. All prize draw entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
    • To enter the prize draw, entrants must:
      • Visit mugshot.co.uk/prizedraw and complete the prize draw form, this will require the entrant to provide their full name, valid phone number and email address and accept the terms and conditions of the prize draw.
    • No purchase necessary and there is no charge to register for use of the website.
    • The Promoter will not accept responsibility for:
      • entries that are lost, mislaid, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
      • any incomplete, ineligible entries (which may be disqualified at the Promoter's discretion) or entries which fail to arrive by the specified closing date. This also includes any entries made via a third party account where the third party account has reposted the original prize draw post without the Promoter’s permission.
    • By submitting a prize draw entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
    • The prize draw winner will be drawn at random by a random generator.
  3. Eligibility
    • The prize draw is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except:
      • employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
      • employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the prize draw or its administration; or
      • members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
    • In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the prize draw.
    • The Promoter will not accept prize draw entries that are:
      • automatically generated by computer or created by artificial intelligence (including but not limited to chatbots such as ChatGPT or similar software applications);
      • completed by third parties or in bulk;
      • illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
      • photocopies and not originals; or
      • incomplete
    • Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
    • The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw.
  4. The prize
    • There will be one (1) prize available to be won.
    • The prize will include
  • a 3-night stay for 2 adults, in a self-catering treehouse accommodation located in Sussex
  • £100 travel allowance per person
  • A welcome hamper on arrival
  • Bike hire for one day
  • £250 spending allowance (for the winner only)
  • Dinner allowance for one night of your stay, up to the value of £200 for the couple
    • The stay is provided by Element London Limited.
    • The stay is for 2 people to travel to Sussex for 3 nights. The prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and travel must be booked and completed within that time frame, (excluding between 21st December – 2nd January (Christmas and New Year period) and UK Bank Holidays or Easter Sunday). The prize does not include travel insurance, tax or personal expenses except those specified in the prize description. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the responsibility of the winner(s).
    • You will be responsible for ensuring that you and any person travelling with you are available to travel and hold valid passports, any necessary visas and travel documents for the stay in question on the travel dates specified. Dates once notified to the agent cannot be changed.
    • The prize can be upgraded to accommodate a family of two adults and two under-16s, with dinner provided up to the value of £300 including service charge for a family, for a supplemental cost of £480.
    • Prizes are subject to availability. There is no cash alternative for the prize. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.
    • The prize is not negotiable or transferable.
    • In order to claim the prize you will be contacted by the Agency using the email address provided to confirm your win, and by the phone number provided to verify and confirm you have received correspondence. After which you will be referred to a Prize Provider to book your holiday.
  1. Winners
    • The decision of the Promoter is final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
    • The winner(s) will be notified by the Agency that they have won the prize draw within 28 days of the prize draw closing (12th March 2025) (the “Announcement Date”).
    • The Agency must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Agency will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails ms_marketing@cornerstonedm.co.uk month after the Closing Date of the prize draw.
    • If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Agency ms_marketing@cornerstonedm.co.uk in such circumstances, the Agency or Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
  2. Claiming the prize
    • Please allow 14 days for delivery of the prize.
    • The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
    • The Agency will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed their prize within 7 days of the Announcement Date, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
    • The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
  3. Limitation of liability

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

  1. Data protection and publicity
    • The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in https://www.mugshot.co.uk/privacy. See also condition 3 and condition 6.4, with regard to the announcement of winners.
  2. General
    • If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the prize draw.
    • The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
    • These terms and conditions are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts of England and Wales.
